Everything began with St. Jerome’s famous translation of the Bible into Latin and, from then on, translators have been crossing borders using the power of words. Unfortunately, they are not always seen since they work in silence, but the work of translators is loudly heard all over the globe, touching millions of people. It is estimated that there are around 640,000 translators in the world, who overcome numerous language barriers on a daily basis, but there are some whose contribution was undeniable.
