(Mannheim, Germany, July 2016) Faster, more efficient and more reliable – the global linguistic service provider flexword Translators & Consultants, one of the leading professional language service providers, is from now on using an even faster and higher performance broadband network at its head office in Mannheim.
The company has initiated the introduction of the fastest dedicated broadband line available in the entire area in order to be able to consistently deliver on its uncompromising quality requirements. Approximately 250 metres of new fibre optic cable was laid by Deutsche Telekom specifically at the request of flexword. Goranka Miš-Čak, the founder and Managing Director of flexword stated: “The line is a high-performance dedicated fibre optic line with a high guaranteed minimum bandwidth and a secondary connection that enables us to operate our web and mail servers with no downtime.” The length of time from the order to the implementation of the new network was around four months. The costs for the laying of the line were borne by Deutsche Telekom. The advantage: the new dedicated broadband line enables flexword to process its translation projects in an even faster and more efficient manner. Goranka Miš-Čak: “Our sites in Great Britain, the USA and Serbia are also connected to our server in Mannheim. As a result, we have achieved our objective of a stable line with constant performance and without any fluctuations or downtime. Additionally, the upload and download speeds must be consistently high and stable, to ensure that our continually increasing number of employees always have a high-performance and permanent connection available to them.” Another advantage is that other companies who are located nearby can also profit from the new and dedicated broadband line that was installed at the request of flexword. As the cable has already been laid, the service can also be accessed at short notice after ordering.
