To support our existing team, flexword is currently hiring:

Translation and Terminology Assistant (Remote/Hybrid)

Your Tasks

  • Creation and optimization of the multilingual term banks
  • Usage of the CAT tools for creation and optimization of the translation memories
  • Alignment in CAT tools, such as: Across, SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc. (aligning of the translated documents with the originals so as to facilitate the work of the translator)
  • Conversion of the non-editable forms into editable documents, using OCR programs, so as to prepare the text for machine translation
  • Other administrative, promotional and commercial activities related to the provision of translation services

Position Requirements

  • Faculty of Philology or Philosophy; higher education/ student in the field of foreign languages
  • Excellent written and spoken English (min. C1)
  • Knowledge of another language is a major plus (German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other Microsoft-based applications
  • High level of reliability and loyalty
  • High level of responsibility and organizational skills
  • Teamwork and willingness to help the team
  • Independent in daily tasks and in finding solutions
  • Flexibility and engagement
