(Mannheim, February 2019) Top quality and secure data transfer – the London site of flexword Translators & Consultants, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, has now relocated to its new office in the direct vicinity of the City in a move that reflects the company’s international growth. The new office is located in Fore Street Avenue in London’s financial district City of London, the pulsating economic heart of the metropolis on the Thames. With the relocation to the new premises in the UK, the language service provider hopes to not only increase visibility vis-à-vis new and existing customers in London, it also aims to provide a better framework for the translation teams’ software-supported work. Werner Arnautovic, Managing Director of flexword Translators & Consultants: “Our new business premises offer even more efficient infrastructures with which we can guarantee compliance with data protection guidelines based on the highest security standards. This has always been our top priority in terms of the management of our international customers. Thanks to technological standards such as load balancing and the zero downtime policy, our international teams are now able to further enhance their efficiency and service level and thus ensure a consistently high standard of work.”
Up to now, the London site was based in CityPoint in Ropemaker Street – at the new site, staff will benefit from even better connections and amenities in the direct vicinity. Following on from Novi Sad in Serbia, in 2015 London was the second international branch to be opened by the translation provider from Mannheim. The company now also boasts a further site in Jacksonville, Florida.
New technical standards
In order to meet its own quality standards, flexword works continuously to optimise technical standards, processes and organisational structures at all sites. As such, the language service provider is able, as standard, to handle a large number of major projects with tight schedules – even when faced with growing service demands and changing framework conditions. Goranka Miš-Čak, founder and Managing Director of flexword Translators & Consultants: “Today the job of a professional translator is highly digitalised and requires that ever more complex technological prerequisites are met. High-performance networks and servers, modern software systems and 100% secure data transfer are essential at all of our sites. Which is why I am all the more delighted that we are now even better equipped in the UK and are ready for the future and further growth.”
New structures for uncomplicated growth
These positive developments should not be reserved for London. This is why flexword has recently changed its legal form from a classic partner company into a holding. This affords the four country companies maximum freedom to act and the possibility to react flexibly to the specific developments and needs in their countries. Furthermore, it also simplifies communication within the flexword network, which not only comprises the colleagues at the various sites, but also our pool of over 6,500 academically trained translators around the world. The provider, which was set up more than 25 years ago, serves customers primarily in the pharmaceutical, medical technology, business, legal, technology and IT sectors and, today, is one of the most well established translation and language service providers in Germany.
